More about this year’s artist:
Thomas Stenström has for a long time provided Sweden with melodies and songs to fall in love with. In September 2021, he released the critically acclaimed album “Spring baby spring” followed by wildly acclaimed interpretations in Så Mycket Bättre. In the spring of 2022, he released the song “Gråter om du vill” together with Miriam Bryant and his own interpretation of house god Bruce Springsteen’s song “Waitin’ On A Sunny Day”. In the summer of 2022, he released “Sista sommarn” – a song in typical Stenström spirit to sing along to in the late summer nights.
2022 was a record year to say the least for Thomas Stenström. The word “sold out” was the common denominator at Avicii Arena and Scandinavium as well as Husqvarna where he shared the stage with Veronica Maggio and Museiparken in Uddevalla where he offered a unique concert together with Newkid. The success story then continued into 2023 – he started the year by selling out Cirkus in Stockholm followed by four sold-out gigs at Pustervik in Gothenburg. Stenström has been nominated for both Grammys and three times P3 gold and made a great success with his Dreamer Tour around the country.
In recent years, Miss Li has taken a well-deserved place as one of Sweden’s most popular artists with several songs constantly on the top and radio lists and sold-out tours around the country. In the fall of 2021, Miss Li released the critically acclaimed album “Wonderful in all misery”. In the spring of 2022, Miss Li followed up the success with the single “X”, which six months later is still number one on the Swedish radio list and the Svensktoppen. From the last releases having read the Instruction Book, been Complicated, had to go to Therapy, in the fall of 2022 it was time for Miss Li to Salute God. The new single “Hälsa Gud” was written together with Miss Li’s constant weapon bearer Sonny Gustafsson, who also produced it.
In 2022, Miss Li was named Female Artist of the Year at Rockbjörnen. Last year, Miss Li was awarded two Grammy nominations, two P3 gold nominations and was awarded the title of Sweden’s most female streamed artist.
Miss Li captures the audience with power, playfulness and intense stage presence. She is an artist in constant development who touches both deeply and in the moment. With several songs constantly on the top and radio lists, the honorary title “Sustainable artist of the year” and sold-out tours, Miss Li is constantly relevant on the Swedish pop scene.
