Activities

When you stay with us, you can either find your very own, secluded rocky cove to bask in the sun, take a refreshing cold bath, or dive into some of the activities that await. Maybe you want to take a cool ride in the Bohuslän archipelago, go for a run in the morning and try our challenging obstacle course when the sun starts to set? Or maybe you prefer to stretch out in our spa or in one of our comfortable deck chairs.

We have a hard time coming up with a more wonderful way to spend the different seasons than with us! But we are not completely objective, of course. We have seen how much energy our guests get from sailing in the waters of Bohuslän, taking a rib ride or a sweaty exercise on our obstacle course. No less than six of West Sweden’s best golf courses are within easy reach of the hotel.

Invigorating, daring, developing or relaxing activities, we have something for everyone. Here you will find some suggestions for activities at and near the hotel.

Saunaraft

Down by the ocean is our magical saunaraft. We highly recommend to take a swim, any time of the year.

SUP, stand up paddling

Rent a SUP, Stand-up paddling board and paddle and enjoy the sea. It is a fun combination of paddling and surfing. Does it sound to slow for you? Give flyboard a try, it's a real adrenaline rush! Do you want something in between? discover Smögen with a fresh boat tour.

Deck of cards

You can find your own deck of cards at the front dest.

Beach

500 meters from the hotel you find the Hawaii beach with cliffs and diving tower. Hawaii beach is also a great place to fish crabs for children.

Wii u nintendo, drawing kits and board games are available for children. Ask reception.

Obstacle course with your family

Do you enjoy exercising outdoors and challenging yourself? Anyone can join. Children from 6 years old can joing toghether with an adult. From 16 years old you can to the course by yourself.
Free of charge for hotell guests.

WALKABOUT - DIGITAL QUIZ

Try our digital quiz while walking and exploring our surroundings. Compete against your friends or family, or yourself. There’s four different kinds of categories. You can choose between 10, 30 or 60 minutes walk. Download the app Aqua Event – Walkabout.

Crab fishing

Bohuslän's most cozy beach activity for children. You can borrow a bucket and fishing gear at the front desk.

Beachvolleyboll

Beach volleyball is by the marine, contact our spa Bluewater to book.

Spa treatments

We have a treatment menu with everything from massage to foot care. If there are no free times, we can warmly recommend our sauna ritual or spa ritual that you buy on site and do on your own.

Fitness classes

We offer several fitness sessions. The current schedule can be found on the notice board in reception and at our spa Bluewater.

Sauna ritual

Exercise for you the vessels and your heart. The contrast between heat and cold creates a sort of adrenaline kick, it triggers a lot of hormones that increase our well-being and create a euphoric feeling.

Gym

Located at floor 4. Open every day between 06:00-22:00. Entrance is included for hotel guests.

Chill out by the pier

Buy our lovely scrub ritual for the whole body with salt and seaweed from the west coast. You do it with advantage by the pier. We recommend that you start with a refreshing dip in the sea before starting the ritual.

Exercise tracks

Take a walk in our beautiful surroundings. Stenungsön have forest loops of 1.5 km and 2.5 km. Map is available at reception.

Expeditions with children

For the curious - visit the Molekylverkstan in Stenungsund. Free entrance.

Rent a bicycle

Rent a bike and explore on your own. There are nice cycle paths along the sea, perfect for exploring the surroundings.

Circuit Training

A circuit with 10 stations around the hotel with exercises for the whole body. Starting right outside at our benches by Villa JC Stevens.

Kubb and boule

Perfect for playing on the sandy beach or the lawn in the harbour. Available to borrow at reception.

Tennis

Concrete tennis course is located on the southwest side of the hotel. Rackets and balls are available for loan at reception.

Pool table

On the sixth floor you’ll find a pool table in our Lounge Bar.

Ping Pong

Ping pong table at fifth floor, right across room 515.
