A CELEBRATION OF THE OCEAN

A Celebration of the ocean

On June 8th, we invite you to join us for World Ocean Day – a day to celebrate the sea, its beauty, and all that it gives us. We’ll be serving a spectacular brunch inspired by the ocean, filled with fresh summer flavors and salty delights. Expect a day by the water, delicious food, and a setting that reminds us why the sea is worth both celebrating and protecting.

At Stenungsbaden, the sea isn’t just our view – it’s our heritage. People have been coming here since the 1800s to relax and enjoy life by the coast. Our connection to the ocean runs deep, from the spa traditions of the past to the sailing legacy that still shapes us today.

Sailing is in our soul. In the 1970s, we became closely linked to the legendary America’s Cup, and in 1992 we proudly supported the Swedish challenger Tre Kronor. One of our villas is even named after the founder of the Cup, J.C. Stevens – a tribute to where it all began.

This love for the ocean runs through everything we do – especially our food. At Captain’s Table and our summer restaurant Kookaburra, you’ll taste a delicious blend of East Coast U.S. flair and fresh West Coast Sweden ingredients, all with the ocean as the star.

Kookaburra is more than a restaurant – it’s a summer feeling. Set right on the dock, it’s where warm nights meet cool drinks, laughter drifts through the air, and the scent of the sea mixes with food from the grill. Its name comes from the iconic yacht Kookaburra III, and its spirit of sailing, freedom, and sunshine is part of our story.

For true relaxation, our Bluewater Sports & Health Club is the place to be – with hot pools, jacuzzis, saunas and even a floating sauna where you can dip straight into the sea. It’s the perfect way to recharge in between the moments that matter.
